Previously known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park, the Safari Park is an 1,800 acres zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California, near Escondido. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in San Diego County. IT is more interactive than a typical zoo, featuring many activities, such as rope-climbing courses, zip lining, and hand-feeding exotic birds. This attraction is recommended for everyone from small children to adults. The Safari Park is only 40 minutes Northeast of Winners Circle Resort.
The NCRT is a wonderful, intimate theater in Solana Beach. With a great selection of plays and shows, the house is nearly always full. For a unique cultural experience in North County, it’s not to be missed. Their upcoming play, The Underpants, was adapted by Steve Martin, and it’s sure to be hilarious. It runs from September 5-30, 2012. The NCRT is located just one free exit north of Winners Circle Resort, less than two miles from our property.
