One of San Diego’s hidden gems, the Cedros Design District, will awaken the inner artist in any traveler. The bustling street features everything from high end furniture shops to independent, local cafes.  Best of all, this district is totally walkable so there is no need to drive or hunt for an elusive parking space.

The Cedros Design District is a fun place to visit in Solana Beach, especially on a sunny day. The one of a kind shops make exploring the avenue a true adventure. Additionally, the district holds Gallery Nights on the third Thursday of every month, during which the galleries stay open until 8:30. Often there are new exhibits, live music, and artist appearances.

In addition to art galleries, shopping, and dining, the Solana Beach Farmers Market also happens in this lively district. It is held every Sunday from 1-5pm at the southern end of the Cedros Design District.

According to the Los Angeles Time, walking along Cedros Avenue is “like a stroll down a charming European Side Street.” Don’t miss the opportunity to visit a little slice of Europe along the Southern California Coastline.
