Halloween Block Party at House of Blues – Saturday, Oct. 27
House of Blues San Diego is hosting a Halloween Block Party this year. The 30,000 sq. ft. downtown music venue will fall under the Technomania Circus spell on Saturday night, with three music stages and haunted circus entertainment. Party with headliners DJ Skratchy and Tribe of Kings, plus DJs Rocky Dennisson, Sunday Sauce and AKA Dru, and battle for $500 cash in the costume contest. Doors open at 9pm for 21+. The 9th annual Halloween Ball is taking over Balboa Park on All Hallows’ Eve. DJhere, DTown and TK are joining forces to host the Halloween Ball, featuring beats by Manufactured Superstars. Horse racing in Del Mar is truly a unique, North County San Diego attraction. Previously known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park, the Safari Park is an 1,800 acres zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California, near Escondido. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in San Diego County. IT is more interactive than a typical zoo, featuring many activities, such as rope-climbing courses, zip lining, and hand-feeding exotic birds. This attraction is recommended for everyone from small children to adults. The Safari Park is only 40 minutes Northeast of Winners Circle Resort.
The NCRT is a wonderful, intimate theater in Solana Beach. With a great selection of plays and shows, the house is nearly always full. For a unique cultural experience in North County, it’s not to be missed. Their upcoming play, The Underpants, was adapted by Steve Martin, and it’s sure to be hilarious. It runs from September 5-30, 2012. The NCRT is located just one free exit north of Winners Circle Resort, less than two miles from our property.
Del Mar features the best beaches in San Diego, with stretches great for surfing and swimming. Of course, there are also parks for picnics and courts for volleyball. Del Mar’s sparkling beaches are less than two miles from Winners Circle Resort.
